Bots, set up and run by people

We set up bots for businesses that don’t know where to start. Our people run them, and nothing goes out without a human yes.

What a bot is, in plain words

A bot is a program that does one job. It reads, sorts, drafts, watches or tracks. It is not a person, and it says so.
  • Reads
  • Sorts
  • Drafts
  • Watches
  • Tracks

Each of ours has one job, a list of things it may never do alone, and a person who says yes.

Good at, bad at

AI is confident. That is not the same as correct.

Bots are good at speed and volume

  • Reading everything that comes in.
  • Sorting and tagging.
  • Drafting replies and documents.
  • Watching for changes and spotting anything odd.
  • Building lists, summaries and reports.

Bots are poor at

  • Judgement: deciding what the right answer is.
  • Empathy: knowing how someone feels.
  • Exceptions: the case nobody planned for.
  • Accountability: you cannot hold a tool responsible for a missed refund.

So we split the work. Bots do the repetitive part. People check, decide and answer.

The bots we set up

A named person from our team approves what each bot prepares. What a bot may do alone is your choice, and it is written down. Which bots we set up depends on your business, so we agree that with you on a call.

Talking to your customers

  • Inbox helper

    Bot

Sorts and tags your incoming messages, flags the urgent ones and drafts replies. A person reads each draft and sends it.

    Never alone
Send, reply to or forward any email; delete anything.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • After-hours phone helper

    Bot

Answers your calls when nobody can, says it is a bot and takes the details. You get an emailed summary of every call.

    Never alone
Go outside your rules, promise anything about money, or say it is a person.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.

This bot talks to your customers live, so three more rules apply: every conversation is logged and read by a person from our team, a person follows up when the customer asks, and anything outside the bot’s rules waits for a person.

    About the AI receptionist

  • Website helper

    Bot

Answers visitors’ questions on your website from an approved knowledge pack, and says it is a bot.

    Never alone
Answer beyond the approved pack, promise anything about money, or say it is a person.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.

  • Social media desk

    Bot

Drafts posts and replies and checks each one against your facts and your voice. It puts them in a tick-box pack, and only ticked items go out.

    Never alone
Post, like, comment, reply or message anyone.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.

Keeping your bots in line

  • Knowledge pack

One approved source of truth that every bot you use reads from, so they all say the same thing about your business.

    Never alone
Change a fact in the pack without a person’s yes.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • Approval desk

    Human

Our people review what your bots produce, and approve it before it reaches a customer.

    Never alone
Let anything reach your customers before a person has approved it.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • Bot watch

    Bot

Someone watches your bots’ costs, missed runs and mistakes, and reports what they find.

    Never alone
Change any bot’s instructions, schedule or budget; move a bot up the trust ladder.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.

Back office

  • Finance back office

    Bot

Matches invoices to payments and flags anything unpaid, duplicated or odd. A person approves each batch.

    Never alone
Pay, delete or void anything; approve or email an invoice; email a supplier.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • Order operations

    Bot

Reads orders in any format, picks out the details, fills in the forms and watches delivery tracking. A person checks every order.

    Never alone
Pay for or change an order, or contact a customer.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • Data and CRM tidy-up

    Bot

Keeps your database, email tool and CRM in step with each other, and can do a dry run first to show what would change.

    Never alone
Delete or overwrite a record without a person’s yes.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.
  • Weekly “waiting on you” briefing

    Bot

Once a week, a short briefing on everything that is waiting on you: what needs your yes, what is overdue and who owns it.

    Never alone
Post, send, schedule or do the job itself.
    Who says yes
A named person from our team.

How a bot setup works

  1. A call from our bot, then our team

We sort your tasks into bot work, human work and the points where you say yes. We call this the “Bot or human?” check.

  2. We set up and test

We set up the bots you choose and test them before they do any real work.

  3. Our people run the approvals

A named person from our team approves what each bot prepares. A bot does something alone only after you say “go ahead with this kind of item”, and that list is written down.

  4. Every month we review it

We look at what the bots did, what they got wrong and what they cost to run.

  5. Bots earn trust slowly

A bot moves up the trust ladder only after clean runs.

Proof: our own company

25 bots, one founder (as of 20 October 2026)

Our own company runs on bots. Each has one job, a list of things it may never do alone, and a person who says yes.

Meet the team

Already have bots?

Your bots all say different things about your business. We fix that.

Many AI agencies build the bots and leave. We run them, with people. Who is watching your bots at 2am on a Sunday?

  • Knowledge pack

One approved source of truth, so every bot says the same thing.

  • Approval desk

Our people check what your bots produce before it reaches a customer.

  • Bot watch

Someone watches your bots’ costs, missed runs and mistakes.

When a bot is the wrong answer

Some jobs should stay with a person.
  • Anything that needs empathy in the moment.
  • A judgement call about money or safety.
  • A job done so rarely that writing the rules costs more than doing it.

If a job belongs to a person, we will say so.

Questions people ask

Will my customers know it’s a bot?

Yes, always. Every bot we set up says it is a bot and signs as itself. It never pretends to be a person.

Who is responsible when a bot gets it wrong?

A named person from our team. A named person approves what each bot prepares, and a bot acts on its own only on a kind of item you have already cleared, so there is always someone accountable and someone you can ask. A bot that talks to people live says it is a bot, and a person from our team reads every call. Every run is logged, so we can see what happened.

What does it cost?

We quote in writing after a call. Which bots we set up, and what each may do alone, depends on your business, so we agree that with you first.

Do I need technical skills?

No. We set the bots up, test them and run them. You tell us which jobs you want help with, and you say yes to the rules.

Is it safe to let bots do work?

Only with rules. Every bot has one job and a list of things it may never do alone, every run is logged, and spending is capped. A bot sends or changes something only with a person’s yes, or on a kind of item you have already cleared. On a live call, a bot says it is a bot, and a person from our team reads every call.
