Monitoring: cold rooms, alarms and building alerts

Eyes on your alerts around the clock, with written rules for every one.

Suits warehouses, cold storage, commercial kitchens, serviced offices, and property and facilities managers: any site that needs eyes on its alerts around the clock. We are not a security alarm receiving centre. We watch equipment and building alerts such as cold-room temperature, door switches, power failures and building alarms.

What we take on

  • Watching temperature, door-switch and power alerts, and checking the history graph.
  • Deciding whether an alert is a real fault.
  • Posting to the right group, calling the engineer, and following up until the unit is back in range.
  • A facilities support desk for tenant tickets about power, leaks, lifts, fire alarms, access fobs and internet.
  • Dispatching your own contractors by WhatsApp and phone.
  • Emergency protocols: if anyone’s life is in danger, call 999 first.
  • End-of-shift handover reports.
  • Site admin, such as parking exemptions and fit-out logging.

Who does what

Bots do the repetitive work. A person checks, decides and says yes, and nothing goes out without it.
Human

Decides if it is a real fault, calls the engineer, follows up until fixed.

Bot

Watches sensors and alerts and filters the noise.

Never alone: Close an alert.

Who says yes: You, on the written rules for each alert (who to call, what is urgent, when to wake someone) and on any call-out outside them.

A task, from start to finish

An example day
  1. 03:10Bot

A cold-room temperature alert arrives. The bot checks it against your written rules, filters out the noise and flags a possible fault.

  2. 03:12Human

Our person looks at the history graph and decides whether it is a real fault.

  3. 03:15Human

It is. Our person posts to the right group and calls the engineer on your list.

  4. 03:20Bot

The bot keeps watching the unit and flags it if the temperature moves again.

  5. 04:30Human

Our person follows up with the engineer until the unit is back in range, then closes the alert and logs it.

  6. 06:50Human

Our person writes the end-of-shift handover report.

  7. 07:30You

You read the handover report. Anything outside your written rules is marked there for your yes.

Typical targets

Typical targets we agree with clients: urgent issues acknowledged within 10 minutes. Always agreed per client.

Proof

In year one, we handled 6,000+ cold-room alerts for a London commercial-kitchen group. At the peak, in July 2025, that was about 1,400 temperature alerts in one month.

Questions people ask

What do you monitor?

Equipment and building alerts: cold-room and freezer temperature, door switches, power failures and building alarms. A bot watches them and filters the noise, and a person decides whether each one is a real fault.

Are you a security alarm receiving centre?

No. We are not a security alarm receiving centre. We watch equipment and building alerts, and follow the written rules you give us for each one.

Who decides what counts as urgent?

You do. For each alert we agree written rules with you: who to call, what is urgent and when to wake someone. Our person follows them, and anything outside them comes to you.

What happens in an emergency?

On a monitored site the rule is: if anyone’s life is in danger, call 999 first. Then our person follows your call list.

Do you watch alerts overnight and at weekends?

Yes. Cover can run evenings, nights and weekends, or the whole clock, at the same rate. Each shift ends with a written handover report.

Do you send someone to site?

No. Our team is fully remote, and we have no on-site staff. We call your engineer or contractor, and follow up until the fault is fixed.
